40th Anniversary of Apollo 11
On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to land on the moon. Men have landed and walked on the moon. That historic moment was captured in one of the most famous front pages ever published by The New York Times.
Hand-signed New York Times Front Page “Men Walk on Moon”
“Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed.”
The first men to reach the moon – Mr. Armstrong and his co-pilot, Col. Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr. of the Air Force–brought their ship to rest on a level, rock-strewn plain near the southwestern shore of the arid Sea of Tranquility.
Each New York Times front page signed by by Col. Buzz Aldrin comes in a rich wooden frame (20″ x 27″), with plexi-glass, triple-matting and solid brass nameplate to commemorate the 40th anniversary. “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.”
Free Gift You also receive a FREE limited-edition Apollo 11 silver coin and a copy of the 40-page Times commemorative newspaper “Men Walk on Moon.”
